Past Project List

Our past projects include the following:

Turner Construction/Hilton Hotels

This Orlando area project included the following work on a 40 acre site—clearing, demolition and disposal of debris, layout, excavation of a large pond and placement of the material across the site, and in a stockpile, installation of access roads and trailer pads, and dewatering for several locations around the site. The project will ultimately consist of about a dozen twelve story buildings with adjacent parking and recreational areas. Pull Pans saved the owner tens of thousands of dollars by way of VE ideas.

Centex Homes

Willowcove project near Jacksonville; Pull Pans competed against about 12 other companies for this several hundred lot project; through VE ideas, we were able to save the owner hundreds of thousands of dollars. Our scope of work included clearing of 150 acres, extensive disking, digging of a dozen ponds, finish grade work for the entire site, sodding, seeding, dewatering, and erosion control.

Kiewit -- Multiple Projects

We have worked on an on-going basis for some of the Kiewit companies since the summer of 2004; the largest project was the Western Beltway near Orlando; we moved over 2,500,000 cubic yards of material, and did disking, clearing, balancing, and hauling of import materials over a two year period. In the winter of 05/06, we moved several hundred thousand cubic yards of material in Pueblo, Colorado for a power plant expansion. Our tractor and pan units took the place of off road trucks and other pieces of equipment that were being used to move the material prior to our arrival.

Granite Construction

Western Beltway and Disney Access Road; starting early in 2004, and continuing through late 2005, we moved over a million and a half cubic yards of material for Granite on these projects, along with providing clearing, balancing, and other hauling services. The initial work with Granite was a $35,000 contract for the Disney Access Road; that soon led to the Western Beltway job, which was in excess of $2,000,000.

W.G. Mills, Inc.

“I” School Project, St. Cloud, Florida. Mills is the largest builder of schools in Florida. They contacted us after being referred our way by the Osceola County School District, for whom we had done work on a high school as a sub for Turner Construction. We gave them competitive pricing, and several value engineering ideas, and began work on this project in the summer of 2006. The senior project manager sent an e-mail throughout her company last fall giving us a very favorable recommendation; such e-mail was unsolicited by Pull Pans.
